APE was founded to provide Timor-Leste with professional scuba equipment servicing and commercial underwater operations to the highest international standards.

Today, APE Scuba Engineering is Timor-Leste's only certified service centre for Bauer compressors and authorised distributor for Tecline technical diving systems. We hold the highest international certifications for life support equipment maintenance and bring over a decade of field experience across both the north and south coasts of this country.

Underwater Operations

We support commercial and scientific underwater operations across Timor-Leste's diverse and demanding marine environments. Our capabilities include:

• Hull cleaning and underwater maintenance
• Installation, deployment, and recovery of oceanographic equipment

Bauer Compressors 

Certified service centre for the full range of Bauer professional diving systems - the only one in Timor-Leste.

Tecline 

Authorised in-country distributor for Tecline technical diving systems, supporting military, professional, and recreational divers with access to high-quality equipment and qualified technical support.

General Servicing 

Professional maintenance and repair of life support and recreational diving equipment. Parts sourced and imported as required.

Environmental Assessment

Timor-Leste's coastline is changing rapidly. Infrastructure is expanding along some of the most ecologically significant marine environments on Earth.

APE Scuba Engineering provides environmental and biodiversity assessments conducted by qualified technical divers working alongside our marine biology team - delivering the subsurface data that responsible coastal development requires.
